Radianse has an automated temperature monitoring solution that uses active-RFID to automatically and continuously measure and record accurate temperature data. Specially designed ID-Tags can be placed in coolers, refrigeration units or in any room that you want to track current and historical temperature data.

The Radianse temperature monitoring solution is ideal for mission critical blood, tissue, organ, food and other medical related storage applications to prevent avoidable loss.

Combined Location and Temperature Tracking
By combining both superior active-RFID location tracking and continuous temperature monitoring, we are able to bring an important level of visibility and asset management to your clinical staff. Mobile blood coolers, blood bags and even individual items can be instantaneously accounted for and quickly located to room level accuracy. If a temperature alert is generated for a particular mobile cooler, the clinical staff will be able to determine the precise location of the item, so that quick corrective action may be taken.

Blood Management
Appropriate blood management and temperature monitoring are essential to patient healthcare and is strategically important to avoid wasting blood, as it is a precious source of life. Blood is an extremely limited commodity that you cannot afford to mishandle and often it is critical to know its exact location in the event of an emergency situation. Being able to automatically and precisely track location, time in transit and movement history, could not only preserve blood supplies, but more importantly save lives.

Storage Unit Monitoring
ID-Tags can be placed inside a storage refrigeration unit or mobile cooler and will accurately and continuously send critical temperature data, ensuring that items within the unit always meet the required storage temperature standards. The Radianse solution will accurately monitor temperature with an accuracy of +/- 1.0°C.

Specific Room Monitoring
Placing a temperature monitoring ID-Tag on the wall or clinical cart within a patient or operating room will act as an environmental temperature sensor that will continuously send data back to the temperature management application.

Temperature Monitoring Software Application
The temperature data streams across the airPointe infrastructure to the central collection application server, where it is processed, stored and acted upon. The skyView temperature application features:

• Both real time and historical temperature information
• Monitoring of patterns and trends
• Individual high/low thresholds established per tag
